Born in Germany shortly before the start of the second world war I came 1948 as a hungry and shy child to Sweden and was there adopted as their son by two kind people who gave me the opportunity to grow up, live and learn to become a human being in this peaceful, beautiful country, my Sweden.

After school I studied medicine, became a specialist in general surgery and later on also in orthopedic surgery. A crisis in occupation and life resulted in my abandoning the operation table after twenty years. This led to an attempt to try to learn and understand more of what a human being is than just its body functions. So I became engaged for more than thirty years in helping patients and clients who suffered from severe symtoms of pain and stress. With help of further education in Mental Training, some psycho-therapy and old and new methods for personal development from eastern and western medical systems, I have tried to teach others – and myself – more effective ways of coping with the difficult passages of life. With regard to disabling symtoms of pain and stress you can call the use of these teachings rehabilitation. You can also call it personal development. I prefer to describe it as a way to become more of a human being, leading to increased harmony in relation to myself, to my fellow humans and to this world where we live.
